2023 Honda HR-V – Powertrain Specs

The new model has a larger, more responsive engine and a powertrain with an independent rear suspension. It comes in four unique trims: LX-2WD, LX-AWD, SPORT, and EX-L NAVI. Its powertrain includes a 2.0-liter 16-valve DOHC, i-VTEC® 4-cylinder engine that generates 158 hp and a torque of 138 lb.-ft. The 2023 version also comes with a Drive-by-Wire Throttle System™ and an Eco Assist™ system that delivers better drivability. Every trim of the new HR-V operates on a Continuously Variable Transmission system and offers an ECON mode button. The LX trims have a standard FWD, while the other two offer Real Time AWD™ with Intelligent Control System™ as standard.
