Honda Canada has released green Emissions Indicators on its website to show its customers transparent information about the CO2 emissions ratings for each Honda vehicle. Below, we are going to walk you through how you can use this information to purchase an eco-friendly Honda vehicle from your local dealership.
The green Emissions Indicator is available on the Honda Canada site, honda.ca. The home page of the website will show you the main Honda models, with a green circle beneath each. Inside the green circle is your emissions information. It tells you how many grams of CO2 are released by that model per one kilometer driven.
Unsurprisingly, the vehicles with the lowest emissions ratings are considered to be the eco-friendliest. Right now, these include the Clarity Plug-in Hybrid, which is rated at just 36 g/km of CO2 and the Insight Hybrid and Accord Hybrid, which are rated at 115 and 117 g/km of CO2 respectively.
Right now, when you purchase the Honda Clarity Plug-in Hybrid, you can be eligible for up to $5,000 in federal government incentives for purchasing a low emission vehicle. You can learn more about this on the Honda Canada website.
