Top three dog parks located in St. John’s, NL or nearby

Using Google Maps current ratings at the time of this writing, we can see that the top three dog parks in the St. John’s, Phillip’s, and Mount Pearl, NL area are Bidgood Park Dog Park, Voisey’s Brook Dog Park, and a two-way tie for third place between Mundy Pond Dog Park and Mount Pearl Dog Park. We’ve chosen to go with Mount Pearl as our third-place winner, due to it having more ratings. Learn more about the top-rated dog parks in our area below.

Bidgood Park Dog Park

Bidgood Park is located off Main Road in Goulds. It offers two parks, one for small dogs and one for larger dogs. This is especially helpful for people with dog-selective dogs, who only get along with similarly sized dogs. Bidgood Park itself is 38 acres, so you can enjoy the park with an on-leash walk and then go into the dog area for some off-leash fun.

Voisey’s Brook Dog Park

Perhaps a nod to this dog park’s popularity, Voisey’s Brook Dog Park has its own Facebook page. This is a great way to connect with other dog owners in the area and schedule doggy play dates. You may even be able to find someone with a calm dog to help you work on training with your puppy. In fact, there are actually two Facebook pages dedicated to this park, so be sure to check them both out.

Mount Pearl Dog Park

This dog park also has a small dog area, and on its website, it specifies that this area is for dogs smaller than 25 pounds. There are also other rules listed on the site and we suggest checking those over before visiting. This park is located conveniently next to Power’s Pond Boat House.
