For years, the Honda Civic Sedan has been such an important part of the automotive world that it is hard to imagine a world without this fun little car. For 2021, the Honda Civic Sedan sees few changes that apply to each model, but a trim level has been removed. This is part of narrowing down the options to a reasonable amount so customers can always find the best fit without being inundated with options.
The Honda Civic Sedan rolls out with four trim levels. This number does not include other variations on the Civic like the Hatchback. These four trims all include Continuously Variable-Speed Transmissions, but the Touring trim gets an upgraded engine option. Refer to the table below for more insight into the highlights of the 2021 Honda Civic Sedan trim levels. They are listed from lowest to highest.
Trim Levels |
Highlight 1 | Highlight 2 |
LX | Android Auto™ and Apple CarPlay® | Heated Front Seats |
EX | Leather-Wrapped Steering Wheel | One-Touch Power Moonroof with Tilt Feature |
Sport | Deck Lid Spoiler | Steering Wheel-Mounted Paddle Shifters |
Touring | 1.5L 4-Cylinder Engine | Leather-Wrapped Seating Surfaces |
The LX is a great trim on its own. There are enough features that many drivers, especially those on a budget won’t think any less of it compared to almost any car of the same size unless it was built in the last couple of years. Still, the EX and Sport are great ways to get more of one’s money’s worth out of the purchase of a new car. The sporty feel of the additions to these trims stays true to everything the Honda Civic has identified with.
